For example, when my markdown file used the ![name](link) syntax, the image appeared on Confluence if "link" was an absolute url, but not a relative one. Is this the currently expected behavior? (If it matters, the relative link was "../img/imgname.png", and when I view the markdown page e.g. in GitHub, the image appears.)
For images, linking the image from a markdown file is fine.
> 2. Relative links should work, I'm surprised it's not working for you. I'm going to take a look into this.
If it matters, it might be because I'm using a private GitHub repository. For example, I noticed with relative links this was for links, not images), that the relative links attempt to reach github.com/user-entered-in-macro-instance/repository-entered-in-macro-instance/blob/relative-path-specified-in-link. In my case, the "repository-entered-in-macro-instance" is actually a full URL because I'm using a private repository.
In the mean time, it's easy enough to work around this by just including the full Github "download" URL.
