Yeah, no real technical blockers to this. Providing basic variables like user name, repository name, project name, etc for use in JQL would be fairly straight forward I think.

Our problem is that we need a value in the JQL statement that is dynamic, it would relate to the component name in Jira. The component name in Jira is in this example equal to the repository name.
