Markdown from URL rendering relative links

Description

We are using the Markdown from URL plugin for Confluence to store markdown files in a Git repository but render them in Confluence. We often include links to other files in markdown, for example links to source code or images stored in the same repository. We have noticed however that we can only use absolute links; using relative links results in broken links in Confluence. We would like to have a new feature to support rendering relative links for images and links to other files.
